    « Very pleased with its performance. »
    Great product went on a 15 hour vacation and got caught in the rain, no problems everything remained dry. It did exactly what we needed it too. Just be sure straps are all tied down as they will flap in the wind which gets annoying but once the ends are secured it is perfect.

    This is a durable, well made carrier. The major down side is that it is not has large as many hard-case carriers. I was only able to fit one large suitcase, two very small suitcases and some pillows in my last trip. The other thing that you also must consider is that unlike hard carriers that rest on your crossbars, the weight of your items is resting directly on the roof of your vehicle. The tie downs to the roof rack are only to keep the carrier on your vehicle, but if you put something too heavy in the carrier it may dent or damage your roof. But it is very sturdy, and very weather resistant, and a great price. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

    I purchased the roof top cargo bag for my Jeep Compass. It worked well. It is not too big or too small. There is plenty of room. The zipper was a little touchy, but once you moved the zipper,it worked well.

    « Very Nice at a Great Price »
    The Rain-X car top carrier worked beautifully. I drove across the country in extreme heat and through a few rain storms and everything was nice and dry at my destination. I also purchased a package of recommended straps for extra support. I would suggest doing that. I used a small lock since I had to leave it on top of my car every night while at a hotel. Not sure the lock helped much but it may have kept the casual thief from opening it. Anyway... it's a good product and well worth the price.

    It is def water proof but I wish it was bigger. Also I have an Equinox so the straps did not fasten onto my roof rack. Plastic straps were too small. I bought 4 bungees from Home Depot and that did the trick.
