Unit was rated at 65 db, but it sound like my lawn mover. Not suppose to start without oil, but it did. It suppose to throttle the motor depending on load, it sounded at full speed all the time. It fuel meter didn't work. I saw fuel at the cap, but it indicated empty. I wouldn't recommend this unit for anything. You need to check where it was manufacture before you buy it.

Nice little machine. I use on my farm for small jobs. Quiet, lightweight and powerful. The folks from Jack's Tool Shed are also great. I'm very satisfied!!!!
