It's good if you think you need it.
I bought it to vacuum the food after my baby..which he trows it on the floor and spills water too.. you know all that.
it's noisy as a regular household vacuum :) but its a vacuum.

Weak suction

This is a very rugged vacuum that has a convenient battery recharge system, detachable hose and a large dust container. The suction performance of this vacuum is very weak though. I was very disappointed. I once had this side by side with a shark hand vacuum and the suction of the shark blew this away. It wasn't even close.

loud, but unlike other cordless dustbusters, this one is actually useful. plan on using hearing protection for anything more than a second or two.

Great vacuum, but just a word of caution. This version *does not* come with a battery or charger, so make sure you already have an 18v DeWalt tool. Either that or spend $50 more for the model that does include the battery. Replacement batteries are over $100.
